The University of Macau (UM) has expanded its on-campus sports facilities that are available for the general student population recently.

The University’s sports complex has been expanded to include a multi-purpose sports hall, known as the Pavilion, two additional tennis courts, two squash courts, a dance studio, and a gym. Together, these expanded sports facilities offer the University’s students a much greater opportunity for sports and leisure than was previously available.

Since the University’s expanded sports complex is so widely available to students as well as staff at the University, finding the time to make use of it should present students with little difficulty.

The complex itself is open daily from seven in the morning until 11 at night and maintains this schedule seven days a week. Angela Liang, who is a first year student in the business department of UM, comments on this wide availability as being convenient because it allows students to have access to athletic coaches and saves time because engaging in sports activities like Yoga at home can prove time-consuming. The outcome is that the university’s expansion of its sports complex and facilities enables students to achieve a school-life balance that would otherwise be a little more difficult to obtain.
