This one year course covers many aspects of a specialized four-year fashion design program, it includes: fashion design theory, garment material understanding and application, fashion illustration, pattern making and theory, sewing technique, knitwear design and manufacturing, production drawing and software application, English for fashion business, fashion marketing, fashion show collection and supervision.

Teachers of the program are experienced and mostly designers working in Hong Kong and Macau. "Our tutors have been in the design field for many years and I've learned a lot from their experiences, they are the models for me, I want to be one of them in the future," said Lou. Besides theories learned from books, the program emphasizes on applying and practicing the knowledge taught in classes, there will also be visits to factories producing fabric and knitwear so that students will keep pace with the real dynamic of the fashion world.

After completing these courses, there will be a fashion catwalk show where all the clothes on the models are designed and manufactured by students. This will be a good time to prove and elaborate your designing ideas and your creativity. You will be your boss starting from designing a theme, finding fabric, doing elaboration research, graphing the ideas on paper and computer, producing the pattern of your blueprint, sewing up the clothes, and at last making the program brochure, choosing the show music, and finally get your master pieces in front of your audience's eyes.
