Have you ever imagined a scene when there are superb male and female models stepping out from the glittering fashion walkway, wearing sparkling clothes, and the most important is all clothes on the models are designed by you! Maybe you will think this is just a dream or maybe you will think of the high expenses on training and education, a couple of years of specialized education in a foreign country, and it seems impossible in your present life. However, there is now another way in Macau for entering the luminous walkway.

The Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) provides a one-year program in Fashion Design, which is an evening course, so that you may study even if you are studying as a full-time student or working on a full-time job. The course is given from seven to ten in the evening, three evenings in a week. You may also join exclusive courses such as handbag, hat and shoe designs provided by the centre at your free time.

"We are just like a family now, people from different classes and backgrounds gather here and work together for our dream, it's so fascinating!" said Minnie Lou, a secretary and one of the 22 students in the program this year. "I've learned many techniques and professional terms in fashion design, I hope I can open a boutique selling clothes designed by myself after finishing this course," she added.
