Throughout this festival, the organizers hoped that the participants could not only have enjoyment, but also have some ideas about the real Japanese culture. In order to draw more participants to this festival, they made several changes from the previous festivals. They designed and adjusted some events in order to make the activities more interesting and attractive. For example, they provided a cartoon painting activity this time.

The organizers expect to promote more cultural exchange between Japanese and Macau residents and make them understand Japan from their own contacts, interactions and personal experiences.

Cheong Chap Fun, a language Instructor from the Center for Japanese Studies of UM, who was also a host in this event, expressed that the number of participants increased when compared with last year's figure of 20,000 participants. "I think this Festival is really successful. In fact, we not only put our time, but also our hearts into the event. Now, we are satisfied with the outcome."

At last, the Macau Japan Festival ended successfully with the master of ceremony announcing, "See you in two years."
