I consider myself a lucky person because I’m able to do what I love. I can do research on topics that I find interesting. In terms of education, I hope my research work can help to train young researchers and to create new knowledge for society. I enjoy talking to students .I had a lot of opportunities to interact with students at HKU. Instead of preaching, I shared my experience with them hoping they could learn something from me, but the world is changing rapidly. They can’t become successful simply by listening to my experiences, but still I hope they have learned something from me what I want to tell the students is that I think I have many weaknesses but I also have my strengths of course we should play to our strengths, but what we do about our weaknesses is more important so I often ask myself what I could do about my weaknesses? For instance, I’m not a natural public speaker so I will spend more time preparing before a public speech or, I have a poor memory so I will spend more time memorising the info beforehand so these are my weaknesses I hope the students will also identify their own weaknesses so they can do something about them and play to their strengths.
