Journal of Macau Studies
Journal of Macau Studies is a comprehensive academic publication jointly edited and published by the Macao Foundation and the Centre for Macau Studies of the University of Macau. Since its publication in 1988, it has been published for more than 80 years and has been widely recognised by all walks of life. It has played an important role in promoting academic research and exchanges in Macao. With the aim of “researching Macao and serving the society”, Journal of Macau Studies highlights the multi-disciplinary and coherent, international, theoretical, innovative and forward-looking academic style, building for the political, economic and cultural development of Macao. The academic platform contributes to the continued prosperity of Macao’s academics.
South China Quarterly
The South China Quarterly is an academic journal in humanities and social sciences founded by the University of Macau and edited by UM’s Centre for Chinese History and Culture. This quarterly journal puts great emphasis on interdisciplinary issues, focusing on global issues, regional issues, and China issues.
Macau Law Review
Macau Law Review is a legal academic journal edited and published by the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies under the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau. It aims to promote jurisprudence research and to establish and enrich the legal theory system of the Macao SAR. Macau Law Review focuses on academic papers on Macao law, laws of mainland China, neighbouring regions, EU countries, Portuguese-speaking countries and common law countries, as well as academic papers on international law, legal philosophy, and legal history.
