The University of Macau (UM) today (4 May) held a talk titled ‘The Ingenious Application of the Sum-Difference-Product Principle — A New Scientific Research Method Based on Mathematics’ as part of the University Lecture Series. Deng Zhixiong, former director of the Bureau of Property Right Management and the Bureau of Planning and Development under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, was the guest speaker. He shared his insights on the Sum-Difference-Product Principle and discussed its applications as a new research method in social science. The talk attracted many UM faculty members, students, and members of the general public.
