A delegation formed by the 25th leadership of the University of Macau Students’ Union (UMSU), including members of its general assembly, board of directors, and board of supervisors, recently visited the Office of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture. During the visit, representatives of UMSU met with Ao Ieong U, secretary for social affairs and culture; Iun Pui Iun, acting director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau; and Vong Iat Hang, advisor to the office. Both parties had in-depth discussions on the union’s work and the career prospect of UM students after graduation. Secretary Ao Ieong encouraged members of the union and UM students to actively seek internship opportunities in different regions to broaden their horizons and enhance their competitiveness. The UMSU members also thanked Secretary Ao Ieong for her continuous support to the organisation.
