The Centre for Chinese History and Culture of the University of Macau (UM) held a ceremony to officially launch its first Festival of Chinese Culture, which features nearly a hundred online and face-to-face activities from October to December. During the ceremony, which was attended by guests from around the world, UM Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng said the festival exemplified the university’s firm commitment to promoting traditional Chinese culture among students and the local community. Further activities, aimed primarily at students, will take place at UM and at numerous partner institutions in Macao and mainland China.
