The University of Macau (UM) will hold a University of Macau Development Foundation Named Professorship Lecture titled ‘Website Evaluation in Tourism and Hospitality’ on Wednesday 28 September. Rob Law, University of Macau Development Foundation Chair Professor of Smart Tourism, will be the keynote speaker. During the lecture, he will explore the relationships between different website evaluation models and smart tourism development.

Prof Law is also the deputy director of UM’s Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management. As an active scholar and researcher, he has received over 90 research related awards and accolades and is considered one of the most prolific and influential scholars in the field of tourism and hospitality in the world. Prof Law has edited four books and published over 1,000 research papers, including several hundred articles in first-tier academic journals. His publications have been cited over 50,000 times.

During the lecture, Prof Law will discuss the different methodologies and approaches for website evaluation in tourism and hospitality. He will also introduce various website evaluation models and relevant criteria and explore the relationships between these models and smart tourism development.

The lecture will begin at 3:30pm and will be conducted in English. The event will be available both online and in a physical setting.
