The English Debating team of the University of Macau (UM) was recently ranked second in the final of ‘FLTRP · ETIC Cup’ National English Debating Competition. The event attracted more than 400 debating teams from mainland universities such as Peking University, Beijing Language and Culture University, and Shanghai International Studies University. Members of UM’s debating team also won the overall best debater award, the overall third debater award, and two third prizes.
