Tang Yi, a master’s student in the English-Chinese translation programme offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Macau (UM), recently won a first prize at the ‘One Hundred Translators’ Translation Contest, after competing with faculty members, students, and linguists from nearly 100 renowned universities around the world, including Peking University, the Beijing University of Foreign Studies, the University of Leeds, and the University of California. During the competition, the student showcased her excellent language ability and rich knowledge.
