A delegation from the University of Macau (UM), led by Rector Yonghua Song, recently visited the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in Portugal. During the visit, Rector Song and ULisboa Rector António da Cruz Serra had an in-depth discussion on collaboration in the area of medical sciences and signed a strategic collaboration agreement. Serra expressed hope that both universities would initiate collaboration in clinical medicine, public health, dental science, and psychiatry. He also expressed hope that UM and ULisboa would jointly establish an international medical school in the future.
Founded in the 13th century, ULisboa is a world-renowned university and the largest public university in Portugal. It is ranked among the top in medicine in the world, with advanced laboratories and world-class research achievements.
