UM receives book donation from Master Hsing Yun

The Buddha’s Light International Association of Macau, on behalf of Master Hsing Yun, today (19 December) made a book donation to the University of Macau (UM). The books donated to UM include the Complete Works of Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the English version of a book on Buddhism titled Humanistic Buddhism: Holding True to the Original Intents of Buddha, a Buddhist journal, and a book collection titled 100 Humanistic Buddhism’s Paths to Happiness. The book donation ceremony was held in the UM Wu Yee Sun Library. Guests attending the ceremony included Tam Chon Weng, secretary for social affairs and culture; Mok Ian Ian, director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau; the president of the Buddha’s Light International Association of Macau; Lou Pak Sang, director of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau; Yonghua Song, rector of UM; Wu Jianzhong, librarian of UM; and Jacky So, dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.
