A Conference titled ‘The Establishment of a Resilient City: Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Law’ was held today (3 December) at the University of Macau (UM). The event was co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) and Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM), with assistance from UM’s Faculty of Science and Technology and the Macao Urban Planning Institute. During the event, experts, scholars, and engineers from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao exchanged ideas on how to strengthen Macao’s resilience as a city, as well as the city’s urban planning strategies and flood control methods.
