UM professor’s new book selected as influential book in China

A new book written by Prof Li Ping from the Department of History, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Macau (UM), has been selected by a Chinese newspaper and a Chinese website as one of the influential books in China for the fourth quarter of 2016. In each quarter, the organiser selects influential books out of bestselling new books in six categories, namely literature, science promotion, social sciences, history, finance, and children’s books. 20 history books have been selected as influential books for the fourth quarter of 2016.
