The University of Macau (UM) Chinese Orchestra participated in an exchange trip to Xi’an. Led by its conductor Chong Kit Pai and representatives of UM’s Student Affairs Office, 24 members of the orchestra practiced Chinese folk tunes with the orchestra of Xi’an Jiaotong University during their stay in Xi’an. They also performed several folk tunes at a gathering organised by the university. During the trip, members of the orchestra also visited the main attractions of Xi’an, including Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum.
