The Macau Big Data Public Forum 2016, co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) and the Macao Convention and Exhibition Association, will be held at UM on 18 November. During the forum, big data experts will discuss the potential and applications of the technology. The forum will be chaired by UM Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Lionel Li. The three keynote speakers are Prof Yang Qiang, chair professor and New Bright Professor of Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST); Dr Zheng Yu, research manager of Urban Computing Group from Microsoft Research; and Prof Chen Lei, professor of computer science and engineering from the HKUST.
