Eight students from the University of Macau (UM) Department of Chinese Language and Literature recently participated in a Chinese language summer camp in Beijing. During the camp, the students gave presentations on various topics in Chinese language and literature and exchanged ideas with more than 20 faculty members and students from Peking University, the University of Hong Kong, and Taiwan University. The activity was part of a collaborative programme jointly launched by the Chinese departments of the four universities.
