Seven University of Macau (UM) students attended the Global Youth Summit 2016 in Hong Kong, at the invitation of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). This year’s Global Youth Summit was organised by HKBU, with the theme being ‘Prison Break—Leave to Live’. More than 100 university students from Hong Kong, Macao, and mainland China attended the summit, where they talked to four refugees from different countries who are currently living in Hong Kong. The event aimed to increase participants’ understanding of refugee issues.
