The new cohort of undergraduate students of the University of Macau (UM) recently started moving into the eight residential colleges (RC) on the new campus. The students were warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao and Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Haydn Chen, who explained UM’s “4-in-1” model of education and the ideas behind the RC system to the students and their parents. The students later participated in the orientation activities organised by their RCs.
The eight RCs which have become operational on the new campus include the Stanley Ho East Asia College, the Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College, Choi Kai Yau College, the Moon Chun Memorial College, Lui Che Woo College, Cheng Yu Tung College, Shiu Pong College, and Chao Kuang Piu College.
