The University of Macau (UM) recently organised
a series of academic events to celebrate the inauguration of its new campus. The
conference on the Roman law system and Macao, the last of this series, was held
on 6 November and 7 November, on the new campus. More than 20 experts and
scholars from mainland China, Portugal, Italy, Latin America and Macao attended
the conference. Co-organised by UM, Macao Foundation, Hunan

provide a platform for participants to discuss the evolution of the Roman law
