More than 200 students, staff members, and alumni of the University of Macau (UM) took part in the ‘Walk for a Million’ activity yesterday (13 December). This year, UM raised MOP 48,300 for the annual charity event. The donation has been handed over to the Macau Daily News Readers Charity Fund. UM Vice Rector (Research) Rui Martins also participated in the walk, and presented prizes to the participants, including the Enthusiasm Prize – Participation (Group), the Enthusiasm Prize – Donation (Group), the Most Generous Donation Prize (Individual), the Enthusiasm Prize – Participation (Student Organisation), the Enthusiasm Prize – Donation (Student Organisation), the Enthusiasm Prize – Participation (Residential College), and the Enthusiasm Prize – Donation (Residential College).
