The University of Macau (UM) Choir recently won a Gold Award and a Silver Award in the competition section of the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) World Choral EXPO 2015. The UM Choir performed four pieces, namely O Magnum Mysterium, Totoro, Xuan, and Psalm 43, op. 78, no 2 ‘Richte mich, Gott’, in the Youth Choirs Mixed Voices category, and won a Gold Award and a Silver Award in Section A and B respectively. The event was co-organised by the IFCM, IFCM Asia Pacific Choral Council, and Macau Choral Art Association.
