The University of Macau (UM) and Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited signed a cooperative framework agreement on 7 September. Both parties agree to cooperate in developing the Chinese medicine industries in Guangdong province and Macao.
The agreement signing ceremony was held in Guangzhou. It was attended by representatives from UM and Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, government officials, and Nobel laureate Dr George Smoot.
