Macao Post today (3 September)
held a press conference to introduce new postage stamps featuring the
University of Macau’s (UM) new campus, which are due to be issued on 5
September. The highly collectable package includes a set of four stamps and one
miniature sheet featuring the library, the Administration Building, the
residential colleges, the University Hall, and the UM Guest House on the new
campus. UM Rector Wei Zhao attended the press conference and expressed thanks to
all those who supported the development of the new campus over the past four
years. He also thanked Macao Post for issuing new-campus-themed postage stamps,
promising that UM will seize the opportunity brought by the new campus to
produce more exemplary graduates and make a greater contribution to the social
and economic development of Macao.
The stamps will be available for sale at the Central Postal Counter, the Rua do Campo Postal Counter, the Terminal Postal Counter, the Airport Postal Counter, and the Communications Museum.
