South China Quarterly, an academic
journal in humanities and social sciences published by the University of Macau
(UM) Faculty of Social Sciences and Centre for Macao Studies, has received extensive
media coverage at home and abroad since the journal’s first issue was published
in early April 2014. Up until 9 May, the online versions of some of the articles
