Just when Angelo thought this summer couldn’t get any stickier, it did—in a good way. Tuesday night at around six o’clock, Angelo, an exchange student from Mozambique who studies in the Faculty of Law, University of Macau, went to the ninth floor of the East Asia Hall, where he stumbled upon the “Free Sticky Rice Dumpling” activity, which was almost near the end by the time he arrived. The boom of the dragon boat music, the colourful dragon decorations on the ceiling, and the interesting video about the Dragon Boat Festival on loop, were all exotic to Angelo. But what he found most fascinating was the pyramid-shaped sticky rice dumpling covered in leafs. He soon joined the other students in eating rice dumplings and taking pictures. In less than one hour, 200 sticky rice dumplings were gone.

This “Free Sticky Rice Dumpling” activity was organised by the Student Affairs Office (SAO).
