The University of Macau’s (UM) Cantonese Debating Team and Mandarin Debating Team won two overall championships and three Best Debater Award at the 2013 Kiangwu Cup Debate Contest, which was organised by the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, Apart from UM, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, Macao Polytechnic Institute, the City University of Macau and the Institute for Tourism Studies also participated in the contest. Three UM students who received the Best Debater Award are Lou Chi Weng, Jiang Yixue and Pun Meifong
