Kary Chao, a member of the University of Macau English Debate Team, recently won the second runner-up prize at the AIA-Quest for the Champion Communicator Contest, the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau round. She will represent the Pearl River Delta region at the final to be held in Guangzhou in April. The contest was organised by the Association of International Accountants (AIA). The first contest was held in 2002. This year’s contest consists of three parts, English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with topics on current affairs and economy. Every contestant is required to give a 4-to-5-minute speech on three topics.
