Simulated Investment Competition for College Students in Macao, co-organised by the Bank of China Macao Youth Association, the Macao Youth Federation and the University of Macao’s (UM) Faculty of Business Administration, has ended with success. Winners were announced at the closing ceremony held at UM.UM students Chan Wai Ian, Hsu Chang-Chi and Wong Un Ieng placed fourth, eighth and tenth respectively
The competition covered two main investment areas, namely Stock Investment and Foreign Exchange. The purpose of the competition was to help the participants to gain more practical investment knowledge and to promote the right attitude towards investing among the general public.
A total of ten prizes were presented during the closing ceremony. Scholarships of different amounts were awarded to the top five students, while students ranking between No. 6 and No. 10 received certificates of merits.
