A record number of 850 students and staff of the University of Macau (UM) took part in the Walk for a Millionactivity last Sunday (9 December) and collected over MOP 70,000 for the annual charity event organised by the Macau Daily News Readers Charity Fund. UM Rector Wei Zhao also participated in the walk, and presented numerous prizes to participants, including the Donation Increase Prize, the Most Generous Donation Prize, the Most Active Participation Prize, the Contribution Prize, the Most Active Participation Prize for Student Organisation and the Most Generous Donation Prize for Student Organisation.
