At the Guangdong Rock Climbing Championships 2012, University of Macau’s (UM) Rock Climbing Team placed third (overall ranking) in the Men’s Amateur Difficulty Grade Competition, sixth (overall ranking) in the Speed Competition, third (overall ranking) in the Women’s Amateur Speed Competition, and fifth (overall ranking) in the Difficulty Grade Competition. The event attracted over 150 athletes from rock climbing clubs and universities in Guangdong province.
