Ma Jin, a master’s student at the University of Macau (UM) and former member of the Chinese national badminton team, shared some reflections on her remarkable journey as an athlete and world champion, during an exchange event organised by the UM Office of Sports Affairs. She encouraged the more than 800 UM students and faculty members who attended the event to appreciate both successes and failures as they offer important life lessons. Ma, who is studying the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme at UM, also received a certificate of appointment as an honorary advisor to the UM Sport Teams during the event.
