The University of Macau (UM) Dragon Boat Team recently participated in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races 2021 as two teams. The UM Team A won the championship at the Macao University Student Small Dragon Boat Race – Open Category (200 metre), while the UM Team B placed sixth in the same category. Other universities that participated in this year’s event are Macao Polytechnic Institute, the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, and the City University of Macau. This is the fifth consecutive year that UM has won a championship at this competition.
