UM the only university in Macao to perform at national inter-varsity art show

The University of Macau’s (UM) Choir, Symphonic Band, and a student team performed alongside 197 university teams at the opening ceremony of a national inter-varsity art show held in Chengdu, Sichuan province. All three UM performances were selected by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and UM was the only university in Macao to have been selected to perform at this national event. Launched in 2005, this national art show is held every three years and is currently the highest-level, largest, and most influential inter-varsity art event in China.
