The University of Macau (UM) joined the inauguration ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Engineering Alliance and a seminar on the development of new academic disciplines in the field of engineering on 10 May. The event aimed to discuss the orientation of the alliance’s future work and its key tasks. As one of the founding members of the alliance, UM plans to implement strategies for collaboration in relevant areas based on the development guidelines of the country and the Greater Bay Area as well as the Macao SAR government’s policy. During the ceremony, UM Rector Yonghua Song gave a speech and shared with participants the university’s strengths in engineering education.
