In the scope of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Macau – UM, and the Universidade Estadual Paulista «Júlio de Mesquita Filho» – UNESP, the «1st Seminar on Law and Social Sciences» will be held between 30 October and 31 October at the STDM Auditorium of the University of Macau Library.
This seminar is jointly organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSH) and the Faculty of Law (FLL), through the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (IEJAva), and will be hosted by 22 speakers, ten from Brazil and twelve from Macau.
The objective of this event is to offer a comprehensive perspective and extended insight of the social, political, legal and economical conjuncture of the Federative Republic of Brazil, People’s Republic of China and Macau Special Administrative Region.
It will focus on several thematic areas, from the political models of Brazil, PRC and MSAR, to the legal structure and its organization, not forgetting the legal education, economic models, international trading, land modernization and urbanization, labor market, employment and income policies, security policies and social welfare.
The works will be conducted in English and Portuguese. Consecutive translation will be available during the periods of Questions and Answers.
