The University of Macau’s (UM) Department of Chinese has made significant progress in teaching and research in recent years. Today (6 December) the department held an exhibition of academic works and research findings by its students and teaching staff, conducted between 2007 and 2012. The department has also established a consortium with its counterparts at Peking University, Taiwan University and the University of Hong Kong in order to facilitate joint student training and faculty exchange.
