The American Society of Civil Engineers’ International Student Group (ASCE-ISG) of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, which is under the University of Macau (UM) Students’ Union, earlier held a bridge building competition. Seven teams from secondary schools and six teams from UM have got into the final.
The competition
aimed to provide an opportunity for university students to put theoretical
knowledge into practice and for secondary school students to increase their knowledge
of and interest in civil engineering.
