The 2014 University of Macau Cross-Strait Postgraduate Symposium opened on 18 March at UM’s Cultural Centre. Organised by UM’s Postgraduate Association and sponsored by the Tertiary Education Services Office of Macao SAR, the five-day symposium attracted postgraduate students from 39 higher education institutions in Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China. The theme of the symposium is “in conversation with the times: youth and dreams”. The symposium includes keynote lectures, thematic reports, and summit meetings.
