The University of Macau, Zhejiang University, and Renmin University of China jointly held a symposium on 30 October 2020 on financial innovation and new opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and a roundtable meeting on monetary and financial matters. The 2020 RMB Internationalisation Report was presented at the meeting. Tu Yonghong and Cao Tong, deputy director and co-chairman of the Institute of International Monetary Studies at Renmin University of China, provided objective and comprehensive suggestions for the future development of Macao’s finance industry based on the report.
