The University of Macau (UM), Zhejiang University, and Renmin University of China jointly held a symposium on 30 October on financial innovation and new opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and a roundtable meeting on monetary and financial matters. The 2020 Bank Internationalisation Index was presented at the forum. The report provides brief information about the internationalisation of banks worldwide and is believed to have profound implications for the positioning and the future development of banks in Macao and the rest of the Greater Bay Area.
