The University of Macau (UM) recently held a campus photography competition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the Macao SAR. The winners for the open category, the staff/alumni category, the student category, as well as the outstanding photography award and the ten honorable mention awards, have been announced. The award presentation ceremony will be held on 15 December at UM.
The competition was organised by UM’s Student Affairs Office, with assistance from the Macao Digital Photography Association. The judges include Paul Pang, dean of students; Katrina Cheong, director of the Communications Office; Samson Cheong, head of the Student Resources Section; Kot Man Kam, president of the Executive Committee of the UM Alumni Association; Shih Liangyan, vice-director general of the Board of Directors of the UM Students’ Union; Zai Shengnan, vice-director general of the Board of Directors of the UM Postgraduate Association; and Yen Kuacfu, president of the Board of Directors of the Macao Digital Photography Association.
