At the invitation of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR, 19 students from the University of Macau (UM) Honours College, led by its dean Rose Lai, recently participated in a field trip to Zhongshan and Shenzhen, both cities in the Greater Bay Area. During the trip, the students visited the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-Sen, a museum for the planning of Tsui Hang New District, Shenzhen Museum, Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub, research institutes, youth entrepreneurship bases, local companies, and government departments. They also attended a talk on the strategies for the development of the Greater Bay Area.
