A course in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, hosted by the University of Macau (UM) Center for Continuing Education (CCE), has ended. During the course, participants exchanged ideas on how to integrate themselves into the development of the Greater Bay Area and implement the tasks in the outline of the strategies for the development of the Greater Bay Area released by the State Council. The participants also visited UM to explore how to promote research and teaching collaboration among universities in the Greater Bay Area. During the visit, Rector Yonghua Song shared UM’s latest developments, educational philosophy, campus development, and academic achievements. Matthew Liu Tingchi, director of the CCE, told the participants about Macao’s strategies for the protection of cultural heritage and the city’s recent development in tourism. The participants also visited the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (QRCM Lab).
