A delegation from the Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists, led by Wu Gang, president of the association and vice president of Southeast University, recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng. The delegation consists of young scientists and technologists in fields such as infrastructure, deep-sea technologies, supercomputer, and medicine. Song looked forward to working with the association to promote exchanges and cooperation in science and technology in order to contribute to regional and national development. Wu spoke highly of the university’s scientific achievements in recent years and expressed hope that the two parties will strengthen exchanges and cooperation. The delegation also held the Tech Power Y-Talk at the university, where the delegation members gave talks on China’s frontier technologies.
