A delegation led by Qian Zhimin, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), deputy director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the CPPCC, and chairman of the State Power Investment Corporation, visited the University of Macau (UM) today (3 April). The delegation was warmly received by Yonghua Song, rector of UM and director of the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC). During the visit, the two parties had an in-depth exchange on research in smart energy, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things. Qian praised UM and SKL-IOTSC for their achievements. He also looked forward to the cooperation between the State Power Investment Corporation and the university in areas such as integrated urban energy systems, and the Internet of Things for energy.
