The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance Annual Meeting and President Forum 2022 was held today (25 November) at the University of Macau (UM). During the meeting, which combined both virtual and in-person elements, over 100 heads and representatives of universities and supporting units in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao exchanged ideas on how to implement the national strategy of education digitalisation to strengthen talent development, with the goal of promoting higher education development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). At the President Forum, UM Rector Yonghua Song chaired a sub-forum titled ‘Taking the Advantages of Collaborations in the Greater Bay Area to Implement the National Strategy of Education Digitalisation’.
