The Centre for Chinese History and Culture (CCHC) of the University of Macau (UM), Yancheng Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, and the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall co-organised an academic seminar titled ‘Ye Ting and Macao’. Through exploring the content of historical materials about General Ye Ting in Macao, the event aimed to enrich the historical documents of Macao and contribute to the establishment of the city as a base for exchange and cooperation with Chinese culture as the mainstream and the coexistence of different cultures.
